The location is gorgeous. Our site was right along the water. The issue is the drive way into the campground and the pads for the sites. They are both in horrible condition. We had to move our motorhome several times on our pad due to the pad just giving away under our jacks. It was difficult to stay level. There is shopping nearby. Avoid the GPS map as it will take you down a road with a railroad track that will cause you to bottom out. We had a horrible windstorm while there (no fault of the campground). Several RVs received damage and one actually flipped over 360 degrees. Very scary.

Park ok we stayed 13 days. Nice location but the roads in and out of park are terrible. Park was barely being maintained could have been mowed better and could have been cleaned better especially when there are what appears to be 3 sets of camp host.

We love this campground. The sites are very big and grassy and waterfront. Always clean and friendly.

The host was amazing. The place was quiet and very clean. Grass was mowed and the drinking water tasted so clean. Most campgrounds don't. Just down the road a few miles is a food stand lot with amazing food. The only reason for the 4 star is the site I was in had bad holes. Previous reviews do mention the roads. For COE it's to be expected and definitely not the worst. Do the speed limit and the roads aren't an issue. The views were perfect. The shower was nice, hot and clean. Would definitely come back!

All the camp host are amazing! Thank you Mrs. Ann for the fish and cucumbers. Thank you Mr. Randy and all other host for going the extra mile to help my sister and I. Yes there are some spots in the road but I have been in far worse. Just drive the speed you should be and you will be fine! We will be back!!

This park has great space a beautiful view. The roads are terrible, there is no entry before 10 am or after 10 pm. The camp host is friendly, and works hard to enforce to rules. Would stay here again.

I've stayed here twice - once over July 4th weekend. Stayed two weeks both times. New to the RV life, but by far my favorite campground in Texas so far! Peaceful and quiet, ample space at the campsite. Even holiday weekend aren't super wild like other campgrounds I've stayed at. Camp host, Randy, was very friendly and helpful when needed. Plenty of space to hike and walk my dogs. Showers aren't great but sufficient. Only complaint is the road needs a lot of repair. Still, I'll be back :)
