Old and tired campground. It was good enough for what we needed. Broken asphalt pads. Didn’t try the bathhouses.
We could get to the water easily, even the the lake was low for this time of year.

The site was OK. Water and electricity were at the front of the site but we could reach. The ground was so parched it was cracked to the point of twisting an ankle. Fire ants all over. Several sites looked as though there were campers permanently set up but nobody bothered us. The biggest negative was the gate being closed between 10-10 without a code to get in. Roads in the area were in terrible condition.

Lot was mowed and roads were repaired! We are happy with the better maintenance.
Nice large lots and fairly level RV pads

Very nice small campground. Sites are far apart. Amenities such as gas stations, Walmart and restaurants are within a few minutes drive. The staff are friendly and helpful. Only negative comment is the public restrooms were out of order.

Camp hosts were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
The bathroom cleanliness could be improved.
I did have to pick up large dog mess (3 piles) that was left right by the picnic table from the campers who used the site prior to us.
Not pleasant and some type of follow up should be imposed on patrons who bring animals and neglect their duties.
I suggest visiting the Fort Worth Cattle Drive if you’re in this area.

Park is very rundown from the sites to bathrooms. The roads were just repaved but they just put new blacktop over old stuff without fixing old defects.Already a quarter of the road is cracking and falling down grade .Big safety problem with rv and even a bicycle.Where’s all the money going from campsite fees ? Only plus is shopping, supplies are 5 minutes away in town.

Maintenance has improved, road resurfaced has helped, hopefully sites are resurfaced next. Clean, quiet, roomy sites but still large mounds of dead grass, holes and gouges in lawn needs filling and smoothing, dead trees need removed . Good water pressure, but dump was clogged again!! Almost good, keep improving! Did not notice any homeless this time

Place was well kept and clean. Beautiful campground with the lake right by for easy access. Will visit again soon if in the area.
