Last minute Memorial Day camping trip and this was the only campground that had any openings. In my opinion this site is not very well maintained. The grass area at the camp sites was overgrown (some people brought their own lawn mowers, but they may have been hosts, but still!). Roads in very poor condition, pot holes everywhere. My son was trying to miss a pot hole and hit a speed limit sign and broke his side view mirror as well as a nice long scratch down the side of his truck :( ! Not really a beach area for the kids to swim but the bathrooms were kept clean in the midst of Covid-19. I wouldn't recommend this park unless its a last resort. The staff was very pleasant though.

The place is great except for the roads. There are pot holes every where! Even before you get to the guard shack. If they fixed the roads then this place would be excellent. It’s quiet and very peaceful.

Great place to relax & enjoy the few of the lake. Reason for not being an excellent place is needs some work on the roads. Other than that it’s a very nice place.

Camp sites are beautiful and it is in a fantastic location in Wylie. My only gripe is the conditions of the roads are pretty bad within the camp and the road leading into it.

New folks at the gate now. And I will say that they are very nice folks. There are two different gate couples working and as a team both of them are doing a great job.

We enjoyed the weekend. Our only complaint is the water at the dump station was not working and we had to go elsewhere to dump our black water tank.

East Fork park is a great place to go camping that is close to home for many in the Dallas Suburbs. We've generally been pleased with the cleanliness and upkeep as well.
I was sad to see that the tent camping sites near the lake are closed for COVID... we would be happy to pay the higher $30 rate to stay in those spots for camping instead of having to be by the trailer campers.
