I love this location, it is one of my favorite places to camp. The campground infrastructure has seen better days, though. Many of the picnic tables are in bad shape. About 3 inches between the table and seat on one end, 3 feet on the other. The bench about 7" off the ground. The once level tent spots have all been washed out, and are far from flat. Being buried in 500" of snow all winter helps explain the situation, but it has been many years without any attention paid to these things ( I know, I have camped here every year for a decade). The fees charged to stay here aren't small, please show a little love to the sites you're charging us for!

Beautiful area, well-kept camping grounds. We enjoyed hiking to Cecret Lake, although it was a much shorter and easier hike than we were expected. Would definitely come back to camp here.

From I-215, take the 6200 South exit and travel a mile east to Wasatch Blvd. Take Wasatch Blvd 3 miles south to the junction with Little Cottonwood Canyon/Highway 210. Take a left at the junction and travel up Little Cottonwood Canyon 10.2 miles to the campground. The last 2.4 miles are on a maintained gravel road which has an information booth operated in partnership with the Ski Area; the hosts will direct you up the road to the campground.
Albion Basin Campground is accessible via I-215, about 10 miles to the west. From I-215, travelers can take the 6200 South exit, then follow Wasatch Blvd to Little Cottonwood Canyon/Highway 210.

Policies & Rules
General
- There are no electrical, water, or sewer hookups available at this location.
- This is a watershed area. Visitors will be fined for bringing domestic pets or livestock into the area.
- No amplified music is allowed in USDA Forest Service campgrounds and facilities. People come to the campgrounds for peace and quiet.
- There is limited spring water at Albion Basin. Visitors should bring their own water just in case.
- Campground opening date is subject to weather and snow melt conditions.
- Please carpool if possible. Most sites accommodate two passenger vehicles only. No overflow parking is available.
- Gates are locked.
- Weather can change suddenly and thunderstorms should be expected.
- A per-day, per-vehicle fee of $10 will be collected on site for each extra vehicle. Single sites get only one car free, double site gets two cars, triple site three cars.
- Off-road vehicles or ATVs are not permitted.
- There are two First Come, First Served sites. Site #2 and Site #17.

- The maximum number of persons allowed on a single camping site is 8, on a double 16, and on a triple 24.
