We love Albion basin but were unable to get there during this reservation because of a mud slide closing the road in the canyon. Our reservation fees were kindly refunded.

Albion Basin is a lovely place to camp. It's high alpine views and hiking trails are amazing. We planned to stay 2 nights, but left in the afternoon of the second day as a huge thundershower moved in. I think the entire campground emptied out.

The camp host was very friendly and helpful. They stopped by just to visit and told us about activities and hikes in the area.

From I-215, take the 6200 South exit and travel a mile east to Wasatch Blvd. Take Wasatch Blvd 3 miles south to the junction with Little Cottonwood Canyon/Highway 210. Take a left at the junction and travel up Little Cottonwood Canyon 10.2 miles to the campground. The last 2.4 miles are on a maintained gravel road which has an information booth operated in partnership with the Ski Area; the hosts will direct you up the road to the campground.
Albion Basin Campground is accessible via I-215, about 10 miles to the west. From I-215, travelers can take the 6200 South exit, then follow Wasatch Blvd to Little Cottonwood Canyon/Highway 210.

Policies & Rules
General
- There are no electrical, water, or sewer hookups available at this location.
- This is a watershed area. Visitors will be fined for bringing domestic pets or livestock into the area.
- No amplified music is allowed in USDA Forest Service campgrounds and facilities. People come to the campgrounds for peace and quiet.
- There is limited spring water at Albion Basin. Visitors should bring their own water just in case.
- Campground opening date is subject to weather and snow melt conditions.
- Please carpool if possible. Most sites accommodate two passenger vehicles only. No overflow parking is available.
- Gates are locked.
- Weather can change suddenly and thunderstorms should be expected.
- A per-day, per-vehicle fee of $10 will be collected on site for each extra vehicle. Single sites get only one car free, double site gets two cars, triple site three cars.
- Off-road vehicles or ATVs are not permitted.
- There are two First Come, First Served sites. Site #2 and Site #17.

- The maximum number of persons allowed on a single camping site is 8, on a double 16, and on a triple 24.
