Mueller Park Group Picnic

Clean site, plenty of room between other sites, and camp hosts went above and beyond what was expected to help us out. They offered to help haul our gear in their golf cart, helped direct traffic in the smallish parking lot, and offered free fire wood. I would definitely go back there again.

This park is gorgeous! Leonard and Deanna, our park hosts, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They are so warm, friendly and helpful. It just made our event even more magical. We reserved a large group picnic site for the Groom's Dinner for my son's wedding. It was the perfect location. The kids could run around and explore and there was plenty of room for the adults to roam between tables and mingle. It was a wonderful location for allowing for both sides of the family to get to know each other. So happy we choose this location!

The host are so welcoming and helpful. We had a great day in the mountains!

The site was perfect for us. It was clean and the restrooms were clean.
I just had one problem with the way the extra vehicles were handled. When we arrived, I informed who I thought was the site manager that we would probably have 1 or 2 extra vehicles. She told me they would check back and we could take care of that cost at the time. It was posted as $9 per extra vehicle so that was what I was prepared to pay. No one came, but when we were packing to leave, a couple of our party had been ticketed on their windshields. It was a bit of an affront as we were expecting to pay but hadn't seen the host. The verbage on the ticket was cold and sharp and to top it off the cost was $10/extra car and not 9 that I was prepared with. It left us all with a bit of a bad taste after we had had such a great time.

Camp Hosts were excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable. Site 17 was perfect for our group of about 40. The kids left very dirty and happy. Games were hardly touched because they liked the creek and just being outside so much. The creek was very low this year (as expected). Everything turned out perfect!

We had a great time. The pit was a little deep and not in great shape so it was a little hard to use but the scenery and creek were fun and we found a tiny rubber boa which i had never seen before. Your camp hosts are marvelous and work hard keeping things clean.
