What Guests Are Saying
North Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience amidst stunning scenery and tall trees, making it a favorite among visitors. The facilities are well-maintained, with clean bathrooms, hot water, and good access to hiking trails and the visitor center. While some sites may not be completely level and the reservation process could be clearer, the overall atmosphere and thoughtful hosts contribute to an enjoyable stay.

We tent camped at site #100. Overall it is a good location but there was no place on the site to put a 4 person tent on a totally level spot. We ended up putting our tent very close to the picnic bench for the most level location we could find. This was our second time camping at the north campground and we liked this site much better than the previous one was stayed at (site #86). What is great about camping at the north campground is how close you are to the rim trail. We walked about 10 minutes each morning to see the sunrise over the canyon - don't miss this experience! The bathrooms were very clean and there is a nice wash sink outside the bathrooms for doing dishes. The showers at the general store are pretty bad and the men's shower had zero hot water but at least they are an option. In general Bryce isn't my favorite national park to camp in but it's convenient to stay inside the park.

The campground is basically an unleveled parking lot near the Visitor Center. The restrooms were fairly clean, but with no hot water and nothing to dry your hands. The showers are not close to the camping sites, and you need to pay for them ($5 for 8 minutes) - information that we got on the internet, because nobody was available to check-in. Worst of all issues, the ONLY dumping station was clogged when we needed it. MAJOR problem. A good feature that we only saw at this campground was a box to "take it or leave it", an exchange of things people may need or not use anymore. That was a great idea and I wish other campgrounds would do the same.

We enjoyed the RV spot at North Campground. It was clean and level and easy to pull in and out of. The Camp Hosts were lovely. We had an opportunity to meet them shortly after we arrived on site. It was also, surprisingly, very close to restrooms and a dish-cleaning sink. We expected no hook-ups but we didn't expect facilities within easy walking distance. That was a nice surprise. We also loved how easy it was to get to the rim of Bryce Canyon and get right to hiking. The only problem we encountered was the neighboring RV ignoring the quiet hours and night sky mandates as they used exterior lights well past midnight and styed outside chopping wood (?) well past midnight. It would be great if someone (camp hosts, rangers) patrolled after 10pm to ensure everyone was in compliance with campground rules.
All in all, we enjoyed out one-night stay at North Campground, Bryce Canyon

Absolutely amazing campsite!
My girlfriend and I did a cross-country road trip from CA to MD staying at campsites along the way and we both agreed this was our favorite. We got lucky with the site as we were right across the bathroom (and yes, the lights were on sensors so they turned off). The sites were all very well-spaced out and well maintained. And the view of the night sky was the icing on the top.
The campground is very close to some of the most popular hikes like Sunset Point and Wall Street and only 5 minutes or so from the nearby town for food and drinks. Insanely convenient - will 100 percent be staying here again!

No level ground for tents. No bear box. Lots of yellow jackets around the Loop D water spigot.

Schöner Campingplatz, nah am Visitorcenter und Shuttle. Duschen im Generalstore. Leider Generatoren erlaubt, es war ein wahnsinniges Gerattere. Site etwas uneben, geht bergan.
