What Guests Are Saying
North Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience amidst stunning scenery and tall trees, making it a favorite among visitors. The facilities are well-maintained, with clean bathrooms, hot water, and good access to hiking trails and the visitor center. While some sites may not be completely level and the reservation process could be clearer, the overall atmosphere and thoughtful hosts contribute to an enjoyable stay.

We stayed in North Campground in month of June weather was good and campsites were not spacious but not crowded either. Bathrooms were clean but no electric or shower. Nearby lodge does have food and beverage available although it is not cheap, campsites do have picnic table and fire ring and it is conveniently located, the views are incredible

As the comments state, site is not close to level, so don't count on having a working RV fridge. The campground is newly paved, so this site will be problematic in perpetuity. Otherwise, can't beat the convenience of being adjacent to the amphitheatre.

Hosts were very accommodating and helpful when I accidentally cancelled our campsite (meant to cancel one at another park). We stayed 2 more nights in C Loop, site 84. Good, clean sites, some shade, bathroom lights not distracting to stars or to sleeping. Sink for washing dishes, and while you can use them for drinking water, I’d recommend filling up at the water stations outside the Visitor’s Center or Sunset Point (also one available by bathrooms in Sunset Point parking lot.

Avoid staying here!!! Site too small, no intimacy (as the sites of this area of the campground)...our worst experience in a NP campground ! We arrived... and left for one of campgrounds in the nearby staye parks: for the same price you get much.more space, horizontal patches for your tents and even showers!

Loop D. We had an open space for the tent (no trees around) and other campers were right next to us. Restrooms were in a bad condition (for women was usable one out of three bathroom stalls beucase the doors were broken, there was no trash bin around. We only found small one for tourist next to a picnic area. I have also visited Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Grand Teton, Yellowstone campgrounds and this one was the worst one.
