Lovely campground. Nicely shaded for summer. Campsite faced west for view of the sunsets. Short pleasant walk to Visitor Center. Very quiet. Restrooms were easily accessible and very clean. Rim trail within walking distance. Shower facilities at the Lodge Store were clean and nice.

The park was very clean and the campground hosts and park rangers were very pleasant to deal with. We have stayed in National and State parks across the country and C loop (tent only) is probably the worst designed campground loop we have ever seen. Almost every site was on a severe slope. This is a problem, especially for tent campers. I would blame it on the terrain, but the RV sites were perfectly level. The sitese were also so close together that it felt like we were camping with our neighbor. Again, this wasn't the case in the RV lot. The bathroom facilities might as well been a portapotty. One sink, toilets that didn't work, and a disposable needle box (indicated full and looked like it hadn't been emptied in months). Never seen a needle bow in a state or national park. Fund times explaining that to kids. The water spicket was right in the middle of our site, so random people were walking into our site to get water. I know national parks have limited funding, but come on, you guys can do better than this. We saw much better facilities in the other Utah National parks we camped in.

This campsite was near the road in the campground but there wasn’t too much road noise! The campground was SO gorgeous and we loved how many trails/trail connections there were in the campground/national park. The restrooms were super well maintained too. Highly recommend this site and campground
