What Guests Are Saying
Sunset Campground offers a beautiful and quiet setting within Bryce Canyon National Park, with clean and well-maintained bathrooms and spacious campsites surrounded by trees. Its convenient location allows easy access to hiking trails and scenic viewpoints, enhancing the camping experience. While some sites may be too small for larger RVs and cell service is limited, the overall atmosphere and amenities make it a highly recommended destination for nature lovers.

Bryce Canyon is astonishingly beautiful. To be able to camp so close is a fantastic experience. I’d recommend it to anyone.
I do wish the campsites were a little larger and a little more private. That said, the canyon was calling, so we didn’t spend a lot of time at the campsite anyway. But it was nice to be able to head back to “base camp” so quickly after visiting the canyon. We’ll be back!

We spent 2 nights at the Sunset Campground in a tent. Our space was roomy, and quiet, and a short walk to the bathroom. On a rainy morning, we drove to the Lodge for breakfast. It seemed expensive ($16 per person for the buffet) but well worth it for a hot breakfast. At the General Store, we tried using the shower facilities, but were dismayed to find that the last shower is at 5:15PM - we had just finished our hike, we were hot & sweaty, and in need of a shower. We were informed that you can pay $5 for showers right outside the park at Ruby's. This was a blessing! The water was hot & facilities were clean, and I think they are open until 10PM. Definitely worth it!

The camping grounds were great. There was adequate space between camps. Other campers were quiet at night. The bathroom was clean and close enough to the campsites.

We stayed at Sunset campground in our travel trailer. It is beautiful. The Canyon is beautiful and had lots of animals around to see. It was one of our favorite places so far.

We loved staying at S.S. Campground in Bryce. Very easy access to the rim trail. Lots of rules but a clean, well run campground.
