Great site but I thought the spot I found in the North Campground (fcfs) was nicer. I was camped next to the bathroom and while the lights would turn off automatically, they also turned on really brightly along with a loud fan whenever someone went in during the night. Something to be aware of if you're in a tent nearby.

Such a beautiful location. Perhaps the best camp site we have stayed at.

The inside sites are right next to other peoples camping sites. Clean campsite and bathrooms. I liked the other campground (first come first serve) better.

Sunset campground was great! Just minutes from many hiking trails in the park, short walk to the shuttle, and a lovely site. The sites were a nice distance from each other. Park was quiet. Bathrooms were very clean, and the camp sink station was a nice surprise. I would recommend staying here!

Great park and a very nice campground. Love the nearby shuttles to experience the park. Honestly, the only negative about the park is the ranger. Be prepared to meet Ranger Karen. She spends her days making sure there are no car tires off the pavement (ours was on the 3 inches of class 5 gravel but that wasn't good enough) and that kids are not playing around the trees. Literally, we were told to keep the kids away from the trees. Meanwhile, they do not recycle at this campground. When I asked about this, I was told that there are 3 dumpsters and one is supposed to be recycling but everyone puts garbage in it because its not labeled recycling. Perhaps they could take a break from tire and tree checks and make a new label??? Other than that, this park is great.

This campground is quieter and more peaceful than some of the other national park campgrounds we stayed in this summer. Terrific location - it's a short walk to one of the ampitheaters and a short drive to other wonderful hikes and views.

We were in space A236 which we didn't realize was intended for 2 RV's on one rather small pad. The other RV was already set up when we got there and they had a pull-out in our direction. I felt like I was camping in an apartment building. We only had inches between us and the other campers. We also had trouble getting level in the space. We used every block we had and still weren't quite level.
Both Sunrise Point and Sunset Point were an easy walk from the campground. The shuttle was also an easy walk, but we chose to drive rather than take the shuttle.
