What Guests Are Saying
Pine Valley Recreation Area is praised as a hidden gem in southern Utah, known for its immaculate and well-maintained campgrounds, friendly camp hosts, and beautiful surroundings. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, including pit toilets, and the availability of shaded picnic areas. Though there was a temporary issue with potable water, most campers had a wonderful experience and plan to return.

We stayed at the Crackpot campground for the third time. We have stayed at the same campsite due to the view and access. We brought our e-bikes and did a loop around all the campsites which totaled about 6 miles total. There is also a beautiful walking path along the creek. The path is paved and rather narrow. There were bikers on the path which I feel is unsafe. Bikes shouldn't be allowed. plenty of room to walk. The dump station is a few miles from the campground off the same road going to the campground. it is functional but the water pressure is very low. All in all Pine valley is a beautiful camping area. We plan to go back many times.

We stayed in C23, it was amazing. To be clear for anyone renting c19-23; these sites are completely hike your stuff up only. 23 is a long walk up hill, a long way away from the restroom, the only 2 downsides. Absolutely Gorgeous, an amazing place to stay. You are all by yourself accept for the dear.
I was woken up at 6 am by dear. There were 7 dear around our camp. I was about 5 ft from one. just a warning make sure you put all food away. Bread and Doritos seem to be a favorite.
The camp hosts and grounds keepers are all awesome. They will definitely work with you if situations arise. restrooms are very clean.
All grilling is done on the fire pit, entire campground was the cleanest I've ever seen.
Wonderful place for kids, friends and family to get together.
We also had friends stay in site 11 and 7 (double site) which were very close together which made hanging out very nice.
FYI to anyone who rents spaces in advance and doesn't use them, it is very inconsiderate for everyone else trying to stay there.
Camp was all booked out on the website, but mostly empty while we were there.
