This was a decent site. We were there to tent camp, it was the last site available for reservation so we took it. It isn't the greatest for tents due to the slope and no tent pads whatsoever, but we were able to make due. There was a lot of ants in the grass where we pitched our tent, but they pretty much left us alone. The fire ring and picnic table area is very nice with a concrete pad. The shade is lacking.

I honestly don't want to tell people about this place, only because I want to keep it to myself! Super friendly camp hosts, cleanest vault toilets I've ever seen, nice walking trails close by, and great fishing! My husband and kids caught at least 20 fish during our 2 night stay. Our campsite was literally steps away from the reservoir. Only downfall for us was there weren't any trees close enough at our campsite to put up our hammock. Took note of other sites we're aiming for in the future. We'll def be back!

Had again the best time in pine valley with my family, been going every year for 38yrs.
Our camp host this time Richard and his wife were absolutely awesome. Great people make great moments!!

We had to walk a half mile to our campsite from where we had to park the car. Wish the site would have prepared us for that. We would have brought a wagon.

From St. George, Utah, go north on Highway 18 to Central. Take a right on Forest Highway 35 towards Pine Valley. Take a left on Main Street and go 3 miles to the recreation area.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
