What Guests Are Saying
Moon Lake Campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, spacious sites, and friendly staff, making it a great spot for outdoor activities and relaxation. However, it has faced ongoing issues with its water supply, resulting in no running water and reliance on porta potties, which some found to be poorly maintained. Visitors recommend checking for events at nearby facilities to avoid noise disturbances and suggest that improvements are needed for the campground to reach its full potential.

Beautiful, campsites were clean. The camp hosts made the 4th of July fun for the kids. They had them decorated, bikes scooters, skateboards etc... and they did a parade around the campground for everyone to enjoy.

The little black bugs were awful but the beautiful scenery made up for it.

Would have been super fun if the horses were back, per my granddaughter. The Bird feeders were super neat, we got to watch the Humming Birds. Kids loved it. The hiking trails were lots of fun. With the water levels low the kids enjoyed the mud and sand. Hoping that we have a great Winter to fill up the lakes for next year's visit.
Over all everyone loved our visit. Thank you!
