Ferron Reservoir is a well-maintained campground with beautiful surroundings, ideal for fishing and swimming, making it a favorite for many families. Campers appreciate the proximity to water and the cleanliness of facilities, including outhouses. Outhouses were disgusting. Claimed they were cleaned 3x a week for covid (T, H and S) we were there 10 days, they got cleaned twice. Out of TP all the time because the campsite was packed from start to finish, people smoking in outhouses constantly so bad that my 4 yr old could breath in there from all the smoke, filthy, gross.

The campground is far away from civilization and without cell service - perfect to get out and relax. The campsite was pristine and quaint. I thoroughly enjoyed kayaking on the reservoir and enjoyed the trail prepared by the scouts. I would highly recommend this site to anyone interested in a clean and quiet place in the mountains to get away.
