What Guests Are Saying
Joe's Valley Reservoir is praised for its beautiful campground, offering a variety of well-maintained sites with great views, ample shade, and easy access to outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, and ATV riding. Most campers enjoyed clean restrooms and appreciated the friendly camp host. However, some noted issues such as uncleaned toilets attracting flies, noise from nearby off-road vehicles, and misleading campsite descriptions, particularly regarding double sites. Overall, many expressed a desire to return.

Very nice campground! Sites are nicely spaced from one another, bathrooms were clean.
Campground host was courteous although I did have a problem that I related to him, his reply was that he would “check into it.”

Always love camping here. Access to bathrooms and potable water are always close and easy, sites 11 and 13 were great for hammocks. Love camping here to climb the boulders in Joe's Valley.

October is a great time of year to experience a little quiet solitude in this incredibly scenic place. We came here to boulder... short climbing on silly rocks... a quick drive down canyon from here. We'll be back again next fall, no doubt!
