What Guests Are Saying
Joe's Valley Reservoir is praised for its beautiful campground, offering a variety of well-maintained sites with great views, ample shade, and easy access to outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, and ATV riding. Most campers enjoyed clean restrooms and appreciated the friendly camp host. However, some noted issues such as uncleaned toilets attracting flies, noise from nearby off-road vehicles, and misleading campsite descriptions, particularly regarding double sites. Overall, many expressed a desire to return.

Very scenic area with turquoise blue water. Facilities were well maintained and overall camping experience was very good. Only negative experience was the closed motorized boat ramp area where families had set up for an all day outing next to and on the ramp. As a non-motorized recreationist (kayaker), it was disappointing not to be able to easily get to the water on this ramp. May have been a one-off, but I doubt it.

This was a great campsite with lots of trees for shade and plenty of space between sites. Unfortunately it was pretty windy the two full days we were there, and perfect the day we left. The lake is beautiful and we took kayaks out a couple of times despite the windy conditions.
