What Guests Are Saying
Joe's Valley Reservoir is praised for its beautiful campground, offering a variety of well-maintained sites with great views, ample shade, and easy access to outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, and ATV riding. Most campers enjoyed clean restrooms and appreciated the friendly camp host. However, some noted issues such as uncleaned toilets attracting flies, noise from nearby off-road vehicles, and misleading campsite descriptions, particularly regarding double sites. Overall, many expressed a desire to return.

Awesome campsites and great location. Never more than a boat and jet ski on the lake. Good fishing and Atv trails. Good place to go with a family.

This is a lovely campground. We stayed last week of June and although it’s been quite dry the knats were abundant every time the wind stopped.

Nobody was updating the reservations posted in the campsite. My son paid for a campsite in cash that did not say it was reserved. Only to have other people show up and kick him out because they reserved online.

Beautiful area. Most of these camp sites are not tent friendly.
The fly population in the toilets is out of hand! Best to do your business early in the AM while they are still dormant.

Beautiful place with lots to explore. Whether you’re in a tent or a trailer, lots of fun to be had! We went riding up in the mountains in side by sides and a bronco, kayaked, swam, did some paddle boarding, and fishing.
We did experience some rain off and on a bit during our stay, but it wasn’t terrible, and I think it helped keep things a little cooler throughout the day. Just be prepared for it.
