What Guests Are Saying
Twelve Mile Flat offers a beautiful setting with great campsites, including well-cleared tent spots and clean pit toilets. Visitors appreciate the ability to find good sites without reservations and the accommodating group site for larger gatherings. However, some drawbacks include limited access to water, sloping terrain in certain areas, and occasional disturbances from roaming cattle.

A beautiful place to get away from it all. NO CELL SERVICE, so nice! Great place to have a camp fire, ride your bike and just generally let your soul air out.

Beautiful, quiet and remote. Has toilets, but no water. Road to get there has a lot of washboard last and is long. Tall pines and short drive to lakes and skyline drive high point.

Have been going here for 20+ years now. Services have steadily gone down and price up or at least the same. No water and personnel in district offices are hard to communicate with. Restrooms are good. Thank you.

We were there for 3 days and it was amazing! The campground is spread out enough that you don’t feel like you are in someone else’s sight and the views were just breathtaking. We had lots of fun on the trails surrounding it and got caught in a few rain storms. It made for a very memorable trip. Can’t wait to come back
