Ferron Reservoir is a great camping place. The water is with in walking distance. The fishing was good and the swimming was great. Last year we camped at 12 Mile Campground, It was much better to camp at lakeside.

It's always beautiful when we go. Camp site are kept well. Outhouses are cleaned and well stocked. The Forrest service kept us informed on burning conditions. Great place to fish and enjoy the outdoors.

Beautiful country and well kept campground. Even the toilets were clean!
The only frustrating thing is that the water was turned off and we hadn’t been notified. So we were not prepared with enough water.

This is my favorite place to camp. We've stayed there at least 10 times. We plan our trip based on the amenities provided. This year there was no water. No big deal if we had been able to plan for that scenario. Fortunately for us there was an extremely kind couple at the camp next to us who were leaving the day we arrived. The gifted us a fill 5 gallon spigoted container. We brought cases and cases of water bottles, so we had drinking water. Long story short.....why wasn't the water turned on?

Beautiful campground and reservoir! If you’re pulling a trailer, come from the city of Ferron. Parts are a steep incline, take your time.

My family had a wonderful time camping at Ferron Reservoir. The water was nearby and easily accessed. The facilities were ideal. The campsite itself had plenty of space for tent camping. The time we were able to spend there brought my family many great memories and we look forward to returning.
