Beautiful campground and reservoir! If you’re pulling a trailer, come from the city of Ferron. Parts are a steep incline, take your time.

My family had a wonderful time camping at Ferron Reservoir. The water was nearby and easily accessed. The facilities were ideal. The campsite itself had plenty of space for tent camping. The time we were able to spend there brought my family many great memories and we look forward to returning.

CAUTION!!!!! we could not reach the location of the reservoir due to the 12 mile gravel narrow road that it takes to get to it! The website should STRONGLY caution people in regular vehicles and RVs that the road is NOT SUITABLE for driving unless you are in an ATV or 4WD vehicle. We turned around after it took almost 20 minutes to go a mile and headed to Palisade Park instead. We won't be trying again.

A great campground with a beautiful view. Serves as a good home base for deer and elk hunting, as well as fishing.

The reservoir was beautiful and peaceful. Gps took us from Manti on a very tight rocky route over the mountain, over Sky Line Drive and then down to the reservoir. I do not recommend this route, especially pulling a trailer. There are sheer drop offs and dangerous curves. The best way is the way we took out towards Ferron. Still a gravel road but no danger of death. It added an hour to our drive back to SLC but it was worth it.
