What Guests Are Saying

Twelve Mile Flat offers a beautiful setting with great campsites, including well-cleared tent spots and clean pit toilets. Visitors appreciate the ability to find good sites without reservations and the accommodating group site for larger gatherings. However, some drawbacks include limited access to water, sloping terrain in certain areas, and occasional disturbances from roaming cattle.

This Campground is very beautiful. The sites are close together. We had a tent in site 14, which i recommend for tents. The issue was most had rv/ trailers and atv's. This Campground is best for that. Very loud, people and machines. Most don't follow the quiet hours guideline. If your a hiker or atv user great. Avoid the place if your looking for peace and quiet in the woods. Vault toilets were clean. No water here. Very long ride on, extreme gravel road. We got a flat , then had to get to Richland to fix it. Which is your closest place in emergency. B prepared for this type of place. Water, first aid. Check tires, long way down the mtn.

We were there for 3 days and it was amazing! The campground is spread out enough that you don’t feel like you are in someone else’s sight and the views were just breathtaking. We had lots of fun on the trails surrounding it and got caught in a few rain storms. It made for a very memorable trip. Can’t wait to come back
