What Guests Are Saying
Twelve Mile Flat offers a beautiful setting with great campsites, including well-cleared tent spots and clean pit toilets. Visitors appreciate the ability to find good sites without reservations and the accommodating group site for larger gatherings. However, some drawbacks include limited access to water, sloping terrain in certain areas, and occasional disturbances from roaming cattle.

We have been coming to this spot for years. For the most part, a good time is had by all. The campground could use some updating and maintenance.

The picture shows a nice flat space, it is not. The only flat spot on this space is where the table is or where you park your car. There is a 45degree slope from the table area into the lower area. Great if you have a 2 man tent but nothing bigger.

Beautiful setting and great campsites. We were worried because along the way every dispersed site seemed to be taken by multiple RV groups. We arrived with no reservations on a Friday but still found a fantastic site in #4. All tent spots (there were at least 3 of them) were nicely cleared and flat. Plenty of nearby firewood. Pit toilets were clean. Only drawback is not having easy access to water. Already planned a return trip.
