What Guests Are Saying

Kents Lake Campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, lake access for various activities, and a generally peaceful atmosphere. Many visitors appreciated the spaciousness of the campsites, which provide privacy, and noted the friendly camp host. However, there are concerns regarding the cleanliness of the restrooms and the camp host's lack of responsiveness to maintenance issues, which detracted from some experiences.

The camp host was very nice but didn’t inforce the rules at night. We had to listen to big camps music till 4am in the morning. Also generators and dogs barking way into the night. It was hard to sleep.

Kent's Lake is so beautiful! The fishing was good and the campsite was clean and comfortable. We stayed with family in 2 sites, no.s 2 and 4. They were perfect for our group and aside from one small incident, the stay was idyllic. At about 1:45 AM some fools in a caravan of 2 trailers and 4 cars made rounds looking for first come first serve spots, shining car lights into all our tents and waking up our kids. They even got out of their cars and yelled to each other down the road. On the second time around, the camp host was able to intercept them and send them on their way. Hopefully they found another spot, but PSA: 2AM is not the time to hunt for a camping spot, it's rude. Send one car in and ask the camp host first. Anyway the camp host was very good and friendly. The bathrooms actually smelled fresh (like freshener spray) and the water spigots were clean and trash free. As for the sites: our site no. 2 had great shade and little wind while no. 4 had shade when it mattered most: morning to mid-day. We drove around the loops looking for other sites with shady tent spots for future stays, and almost all of them had some shade. At 11 am sites 2, 4, 15-25, 27,31, and 32 had the best shade. This lake, as well as Tushar campground are truly spectacular places to camp.

Great experience. Very clean campground. The site map on here is off in relationship to the camp sites but the satellite images give good info. There are 2+ bathrooms. For sure there is one near site 2 and one near site 9. The pine and aspens are tall and beautiful and the lake has some alge but not much. We went on a non motorized boat paddling across the lake and only ever saw like 2 other boats out at the same time. The water wasn't even cold. Some of the sites have steep driveways to get up to the tent spot, mostly on the lakeside part of the loop. Very fun place to camp, I highly recommend it.

One of my favorite places to visit with the family. Campsites are nice, scenery is beautiful, fishing is good. We went too early this year because we were excited to get outdoor after being cooped up for so long. It was bitterly cold at night and not much better in the day. It made fishing miserable when you got your hands wet. But hey a bad day fishing....
