Nice well spaced camp ground with flush toilets. It was clean and well maintained. We had perfect weather first of June and high 70s temps. Camp host was friendly and helpful.

beatiful setting in the trees, after a hot day in the sun, finishing the day in the shade of the trees and laying in a hammock was the best.

Why stay inside Capitol Reef when you can stay here just 12 mi away? Excellent camping, water, flush toilets and the hike tp the falls from the campground is a worthy hike. Very spacious sites and a nice campground.

Such a pleasant place to stay. Plenty of shade, the bathrooms were clean and fresh, and the camp host, Sandy was just as awesome as the other reviews said. Thank you!

The camp host, Sandy, does an amazing job! Friendly, informative, and helpful, she goes beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable. She is all over maintaining the campground. The clean restrooms are flushable toilets. With potable water and a dump station it makes for ease of camping.

Not crowded, rest areas clean, quiet early, nice walk to a great view to the east.

Getting There
From Torrey, Utah, drive approximately one mile east on Highway 24 to junction of Highway 12. Turn right onto Highway 12 and continue for 12 mi to the campground.

The campground is accessible via Highway 24 and Highway 12, with the junction of these highways located approximately one mile from Torrey, Utah.
Policies & Rules
General
- Street legal and non-street legal vehicles are allowed for access and egress only.
- There are no electricity, water or sewer hookups at the campground.
- This is a ‘pack it in-out’ facility. No garbage services are available. Please bring your own garbage bags.
- Camping is limited to 16 days.
- Any vehicles or trailers that can not fit in the designated site must be relocated to another site purchased at full site price. Check area map for available free parking.
- Bears frequent this area; please keep all food, garbage and scented items locked up and inaccessible to wildlife.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help prevent the spread of tree-killing pests in our national forests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
