Great experience… I would suggest camp installs hand soap/sanitizer dispensers in bathrooms. Beautiful campground and spacious sites!

We LOVE Singletree!! Second year in a row to camp there. ALWAYS clean areas for tenting, bathrooms clean and supplied, plenty of space between campsites, LOVE IT!! Beautiful trails and a bonus that it's so close to National Parks!!

Really nice and quiet place! Clean facilities and a lot of space to camp. When it started to get dark we heard some cows which was very entertaining.

Loved this campground. Beautiful and quiet. The camp hot was so friendly and accommodating. I ended up staying in site 21 since it had more shade, and I highly recommend it!

Pleasant quiet campground with a lot of nice trees. Reasonably good condition, though the toilet building needs some TLC. The recreation.gov site says the campsite has wifi for $5 but the HughsNet system was broken when we were there. Without wifi, cell reception is spotty.
Keep in mind Single Tree is at a higher elevation than Capital Reef NP, so it will be colder overnight than whatever the forecast low for the park is.

Getting There
From Torrey, Utah, drive approximately one mile east on Highway 24 to junction of Highway 12. Turn right onto Highway 12 and continue for 12 mi to the campground.

The campground is accessible via Highway 24 and Highway 12, with the junction of these highways located approximately one mile from Torrey, Utah.
Policies & Rules
General
- Street legal and non-street legal vehicles are allowed for access and egress only.
- There are no electricity, water or sewer hookups at the campground.
- This is a ‘pack it in-out’ facility. No garbage services are available. Please bring your own garbage bags.
- Camping is limited to 16 days.
- Any vehicles or trailers that can not fit in the designated site must be relocated to another site purchased at full site price. Check area map for available free parking.
- Bears frequent this area; please keep all food, garbage and scented items locked up and inaccessible to wildlife.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help prevent the spread of tree-killing pests in our national forests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
