Campground was well maintained. Camp host (Sandy) is the best! Super friendly, knowledgeable and on top of things. Have loved coming to this area over the years. There was smoke from nearby fires, just something to keep in mind when planning a trip. More flies than usual, but I suspect it is because we don't usually come in August.

Sandy the host was wonderful. The other campers were kind and respectful. The smoke from the Widemouth fire eventually caused us to leave early, but we liked this campground at higher elevation.

Great campsite if you can't book a night at Capitol Reef, and totally worth a visit on its own.

Looking to explore Capital Reef NP, but also want to escape the heat and be in an evergreen shaded campground? Well singletree is the place for you. One thing to note, all of our reservations said "Fishlake National Forest" but the camp ground seems to be in the "Dixie National Forest". Anyway, it is a short drive to Torrey UT and Capital Reef NP

This was a hidden gem. There’s a volleyball court and lots of grills and picnic tables for families. Very quiet and great for star gazing. Maybe 30 minutes away from Capitol reef. There are flush toilet portapotties but no sinks. Bring hand soap and hand washing water. No showers. I would stay again!

From Torrey, Utah, drive approximately one mile east on Highway 24 to junction of Highway 12. Turn right onto Highway 12 and continue for 12 miles to the campground.
The campground is accessible via Highway 24 and Highway 12, with the junction of these highways located approximately one mile from Torrey, Utah.

Policies & Rules
General
- Street legal and non-street legal vehicles are allowed for access and egress only.
- There are no electricity, water or sewer hookups at the campground.
- This is a ‘pack it in-out’ facility. No garbage services are available. Please bring your own garbage bags.
- Camping is limited to 16 days.
- Any vehicles or trailers that can not fit in the designated site must be relocated to another site purchased at full site price. Check area map for available free parking.
- Bears frequent this area; please keep all food, garbage and scented items locked up and inaccessible to wildlife.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help prevent the spread of tree-killing pests in our national forests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
