The campsite was spacious but next to the highway, so constant noise from that. The camp host at the gate was very short with us. At least we weren't there early, but she was mostly concerned with whether or not there was another car coming to our site, and we were asked at least three times (there was not another car joining us). We also go no direction to our campsite, so we just drove around. The site numbers were obscured by bird poo, so I ended up walking the road until we found our site. $12 is a steep price for the dump. I also didn't like that the gates close at 10 each night, esp with the days being so long. If I wanted to go elsewhere for the sunset, it would've been too much of a hassle, so we changed some of our plans. With all that being said, I love the close proximity to Snowbasin and the lake, and will likely be back next year, hopefully getting to reserve a campsite closer to the water!

Beautiful campground with lots of grassy areas and trees. The lake and surroundings are beautiful. The other lake users were problematic with swimming where boats were trying to load and unload, and boaters did not seem to understand space and safety.

We had an excellent time, visited over July 4 weekend (2022). Grass and shrubs were all still green and reservoir was almost full. Yurt was nice and level, and the two full beds inside were very comfortable. Enough so that we didn't use our inflatable mattress we brought. Camp site was moderately shaded and restroom facilities were updated and as clean as one could expect for vault toilets. Staff moderating the parking and site were very friendly and accommodating. Walk to the beach was about two minutes, would highly recommend, our site (site 107) was next to day use parking so a little busy during the day (holiday weekend) but very close to everything. We plan to make it an annual trip.

Do NOT arrive early and expect to check in. Other than the interaction with this one “host” the campground and location is wonderful!

My family really enjoyed this campground. I liked our proximity to the reservoir, but wish there were stairs or a wooden ramp to get up and down the hill. I have mobility issues and it was challenging for me to climb up and down the sandy path. I do love that you can fill your camper with water at no charge.
