Very dusty/dirty camping area. Overcrowded with restroom facilities needing more attention. Beach area was nice, but was also over crowded with lots of trash and debris blowing around.

First time staying in the Layton Loop, nice loop but really dusty. Not a good loop for kids with scooters or skate boards, roads are dirt and so are camp spots. Reminded me of unimproved State camp grounds I have stayed at. Very clean, spacious sites with fire pits, just to dusty for my taste. I cancelled my August reservation for this loop and changed it over to loop D which is paved with grassy areas, more family friendly. The cancellation cost me $18, so be sure you can handle the dust before you reserve in Layton loop

A group was using our spot for day use and the hosts moved everything out so we could set-up camp. They were so nice!

Great experience. It was during the week so it was very quiet. I’ve camped there for over 30 years always a good time. Camp host and other staff friendly and inviting.
