Campground is in need of some serious care. I think that they are so concentrated on booking every site and taking your money that they don't ever walk out into the campground to see what repairs or services the campground needs. I don't think any money is being put back into the campground, beach, dock or sites. Grass is very dry, looks like they are saving money on watering. Our site was very dry, I dumped the rest of my water from my holding tank on the lawn and that was probably the only water it had seen all summer. They need to give each site some time to rest and recover before the next campers are tramping all over it.

We wish they would have done something to enforce quiet time. Our neighbors partied loudly until 2am. Bathrooms are disgusting and need serious attention.

Camp hoists and stay were supper nice! They went out of their way to help and answer our questions. The 3 starts for our camp site (45). Our site was the worst amongst the others. Little to no shade, dirt and weeds with little to no grass around. Our fire pit was the only one we saw without a cooking grate and I felt that our site hasn't had any attention or maintenance. I now understand why is was the only one left for the weekend that we reserved.

I love Anderson Cove as a nearby camping experience. We've always been greeted by the camp hosts with a smile and they've been helpful even though we've read reviews complaining about them. The spots are large and there are trees to provide shade. Each spot has a stand to place your griddle/grill, a fire pit and a large picnic table. It's too bad the restrooms are not at all pleasant. They could use a daily spray down to keep the bugs at bay and to clean them up of daily debris. I've seen this same style of facility provided in other areas in much better condition. Toilet paper is always available. 'Leave no trace.'

Swimming in the lake is great, camp staff was great, but no electricity or water at the camp sites & people walk right through the sites to get to lake/restrooms/other destinations.
Noisy, crowded. NO ONE wears masks.
