Campsite was easy to access, had decent restrooms, and plenty of space for our two tents.

Great place for a one night stay.
We were by one of the dumpsters, which smelled alternately of sour milk and unidentifiable nastiness.

A lovely site next to the river and some sites have access to the water. Really nice hosts too :)

We enjoyed Dinosaur National Monument very much. The various aspects (canyons, dinosaur bones, petroglyphs, beauty) were all unique and interesting. I wish there were more pullouts on the road. I would have liked to take photos of the geologic layers after the rain, when the colors were very bright, but I could not find many pullouts. There was a beautiful picture of low clouds coming over the cliffs, but, again, I could not find a place to pull over to take a photo. The campground hosts were very helpful. We stayed in two campsites in Green River Campground--one was quite busy as it was near the river, and the other secluded and quiet on the edge of the grounds. I wish we could have stayed in Split Mountain Campground, which has a spectacular setting, but there are only group sites available.

People camping across from us ran their generator from 4pm until quiet hours started. Incredibly annoying. Generators should be BANNED!!

This is a lovely campground right on the Green River with lots of tall shade trees. I was worried it would be too hot while we were there - it was in the upper 80’s in the afternoons but it felt very pleasant at the campground. There is access to the river where you can wade in the water to cool off too. The kids had a great time playing at the water’s edge. The scenery is typical Utah beautiful and the dinosaur exhibit and surrounding petroglyphs are spectacular.

Nothing special campground. The only water available was from drinking fountain faucet without hose fitting.
