Nice campground with access to Green River to cool off. Not much shade on hot days. We stayed in Site 11 which doesn't have off-road parking for an RV or Van, its more of a parallel pull off on the road next to table and dirt area.

We loved that the campground had bathrooms and was clean. We enjoyed our stay

Although our original reserved site was really awful for tenters, the campground host suggested we see if we could find a better site in the non-reservable loop-which we did—and helped us fill out the envelope so we would not need to pay again. The new site was good. We had a nice shaded pad for our tent and the site was well maintained. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that the pained the women’s restroom during our stay so we were unable to use it and had to walk further to another restroom.

Close to the river. Lots of trees for shade. Clean. Ranger talks were great.

We appreciate national parks and their campgrounds more than ever. Thank you for providing a clean, safe, pleasant place to camp in high quality natural surroundings. We greatly appreciated the quiet, the dark sky, the diversity of birds, and the obvious care that staff provide to maintaining this place for the public to enjoy and connect with the natural world.

This is a stunning camp site,
Site 8 is beautiful.
Wonderful view, access to the river with a little path right at the site.
It's view to split mountain is Great.
The tent site is not too big. Our 6 person tent did fit plus a canopy, but had to move the Picknick Tabel.
It offers shade too
We liked it a lot.
Clean bathroom!!

We loved our site close to the river. We were only here for one night, but hope to come back again the next time we're in Colorado.

Our spot was nice and wide- no problem to fit. Not a lot of shade. We were able to swim/float in the river to cool off. Nicely placed to visit the fossils and trails. We wished for showers, but the bathrooms had running water.
