This campground is convenient, as it puts you right in the best part of the monument for in-depth exploration. However, there are very few campsites on the river side, and the campsites are tucked in very closely to each other in the reservation area. We were a bit chagrined to see first come/first served sites open, which were actually bigger and more private, but that is always the risk when making reservations in advance and not knowing how busy the campground will be. There is some generator noise but again, not unexpected. The host was seemingly always on duty, and the facilities were clean and good shape. We would definitely stay here again, but may prefer to take our chances on selecting a suitable site for us when we arrive.

No safe access to the river at the campground. The Green River has controlled flows and we were there at the end of the driest month of the year. The Monument , trails, and campgrounds, were very nice and not over crowded or over worn.

It's a nice campground with roomy sites for our trailer and truck. Water was by spigot at the bathroom. No sign of any trash container, though. Maybe it was the end of the season (last week in September). We hope to return to see the sights.

The campsite was spacious enough for a large tent and it was shady in the afternoon. Bathrooms, water, and trash disposal were nearby. The campground was quiet in the evening.
