Park very nice. Large campsites meant great privecy. Some shade depending on site. Easy to get to and reasonably close to the reasons you came to the park.

The site was level and spacious but the pull through we were on was backwards; the way the traffice is directed to flow though the campground, the entry to most campers is on the wrong side for the site. Bathrooms and trash recepticles were kept clean. Camphost was nice.

Our site had shade. Some did not, which is definitely necessary in the hot summer!
Bathrooms were fine. Host was super friendly.

Great location for access to Dinosaur National Monument. There is nothing in the down of Jensen except for an RV Park, Adrift Dinosaur Rafting operations, and one Diner - Donnie's. The nearest gas station is half way to Vernal. This is a very windy location. If you are camping in a tent, expect to have dirt get into your tent and literally cover everything. We booked a campsite with shade. We didn't know this meant only early morning shade. The heat and sun in the later afternoon made the campsite almost unusable. "Shade" at this campsite is Cottonwood trees. If you are allergic to Cottonwood trees, this is not the campsite for you!
Other "campers" were running generators outside of quiet hours. We had to speak to the RV owners ourselves, as the camp hosts did not check to see that everyone was adhering to quiet hours.

Pretty oasis in the middle of harsh landscape. 100deg at sunset in mid July but once the sun was down the temperature dropped to a pleasant sheet and light blanket temp. Camp host site is 22 or 40 and their AC ran all night which kind of ruined an otherwise perfectly quiet night. If you want better luck at silence then pick a spot further away from those sites. Other than that though great experience.

Hot Hot Hot. Bathrooms are in need of upgrades, water pressure for flushing toilets extremely low.

Beautiful views from the site. Enjoyed the ranger program. Saw a snake in the campground! Kids really enjoyed our two nights here.
Drink plenty of water though, it is HOT.
