First, the Park Rangers were very positive people, engaging with us. The campsite that we reserved was exactly as pictured, and the campground wonderful. The toilets were within a short walk, and tidy as well. One of the Park Rangers gave a great talk on the 17 species of bats at Dinosaur too. Such a beautiful setting on the banks of the Green River, plus the night sky was a wonder.

I didn’t stay here. I arrived and observed the campsite. It was dismally small with absolutely no shade, and it was 96°. I could not find a common area with shade in the campground, so I left and got a hotel room.

Nice campground. Surrounded by mountains and right on the Green River. Quiet and lots of shade in some of the campsites C80 was perfect, shade and just a short walk to the river.
The hosts were very kind and helpful.

Nice campground, in the summer book spots near trees.

The experience was good. Wish there were electric hookups at the camp site or at least a few electric vehicle recharging stations at the visitors center.

Very calming, simple campground next to the Green River. Lots of cottonwood trees provided shelter from the heat. The campground provided a nice base for exploring different parts of the national monument. Great evening talk by a ranger (whose name I don't recall). All in all, a great experience.

This is a quiet, picturesqe little campground, set in the heart if Dinosaur land. It would be a great place to locate while you tour the area.

Green River Campground is a lovely campground at Dinosaur National Monument. The facilities are in good condition and the camp sites are nice. There were a lot of birds at the campground and I really enjoyed our stay there. We also attended a ranger program about bats while we were there. The ranger did a fantastic job in educating us about the bats who live there.

The campsite was nice, but not completely flat for a larger tent (9’ x 12’). You are close to the river and the campground is quiet. We saw several birds, including wild turkey, in the campgrounds. Not a ton of shade and no bear box.
