Nice campground with beautiful views of the river and rock outcrops around Dinosaur NM. My husband and I camped there with our 2 person tent, and we appreciated the big cottonwood trees and shade. Many of the sites were large, and felt private. We tried finding sites away from RV's that have running generators. Bathrooms have running water and flush toilets, which is very nice. The river runs right by the campsite, and the campground is essentially on a point bar, so its not an ideal location if there is heavy rainfall or if river floods. The critters can be a nuisance, and the campground hosts will scold you if you do not put absolutely everything away (clean dishes must be put away in your car).

It was one of our favourite campgrounds during our 5 week road trip through Colorado and Utah. We love quiet and dark and we got that here. Our site was big and far enough from neighbours.
There were flush toilets and they were clean.

Excellent and friendly camp hosts! Right on the river....walking distance from each campsite. Clean and well maintained.

The GOOD: Nice views of the mountains. Near the river. Easy to locate, worth the drive.
The BAD: Sites are not well defined. There were no clear boundaries to campsites. There were no tent pads. Very Noisy guest and the camp host did nothing to stop the noise.
Would I go back? Maybe.

It was very, very hot (I guess to be expected in late July). The campground was clean, the restrooms were in good condition. There were coyotes howling and barking pretty much all night. The views were pretty awesome, as was the night sky. I would consider camping here again, but maybe earlier or later in the year when it's not so hot.

The campground hosts at Green River were incredible! They went out of their way to help us move to adjacent sites when are reserved sites were farther away from each other than expected. Ten out of ten for customer service. Great area to explore.

The campground is in a beautiful valley right next to the Green River. The site was small and there wasn’t much privacy, but it was adequate. The campground was very quiet. The bathrooms and water were close by. The bathrooms weren’t cleaned as much as most campgrounds have been lately, but they were fine. The campground is very close to the dinosaur fossils, visitors’ center, and petroglyphs. Overall we were happy with it.

Men's bathroom was dirty; both men & women's had no soap. Aggressive chipmunks! Well situated sites.
