I love Dino, and this is a great campground. When I was a kid, it didn't have much for shade or anything, but now has large trees, enough brush to provide some separation between campsites. Right on the Green River, with great views of Split Mountain looming not too far away. Fishing in the Green River was hot, got a bunch of catfish in a short time. Facilities nice, other guests very thoughtful about noise, light, etc. Doesn't have the amenities of a commercial or state park campground (laundry, showers, utilities or hookups, etc), just a great place to pitch a tent or park a camper and enjoy the area. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.

Very nice clean campground, several restrooms and water, but no showers. Sites are rather small, hosts were friendly and helpful. Ranger programs in the evening were fun and interesting.

In the middle of nature, close to dinosaur monument. Sound of silence, spaces are big and beautiful. Loop A was very quiet, we enjoyed.

Our site was close to restroom as we requested.
The A loop is very sunny, little shade.
Great campground close to river.
Would stay again!

Nice campground. Sites are somewhat well-spaced apart but there's not much privacy due to the nature of the local landscape. Excellent view of the cliffs/valley from my site! No cell reception (Verizon) in the campground but it does work in some other parts of the park.

Some campsites were shaded by a grove of cottonwoods. Our campsite was on the edge of the campground. Exposed and unshaded in 100 degree weather. Not a pleasant stay.

Clean, flushable toilets and cold water from the spigot. Many of the sites didn't have shade and was HOT in June. Campground hosts were kind and accommodating. Ranger talks on-site were a plus. It was easy to find FCFS sites, although after 4p on a Friday, everything was taken. Cottonwood trees were in full force if you have allergies. For extra hot days, the Uintah Rec Center in Vernal has a great pool. Trails near Josie's cabin are in full shade.
