White House Campground offers a beautiful, quiet setting with lovely views and convenient access to hiking trails like the White House trail and Nautilus. The campground features well-maintained sites, though it's small and can fill up quickly. I hate the QR code system. Lots of people were having trouble with it and some people had just put money in envelopes and left it by the post, since there is no drop box any more. Let us pay by cash or cheque please and knock it off with the smartphone app nonsense.

I really enjoyed this campground a lot. Lots of room between sites, water available 2 miles away at contact station, and lots of nice hiking trails nearby.

Gorgeous location, great hiking, amazing walk in tent sites and the vehicle accessible sites were perfect for campers, vans and small trailers. And the toilets were impeccably clean and maintained daily.

Great camp site. The cell boost only gives 1 bar, so check in can be kind of spotty. Make sure and have the rec.gov app ahead of time because you won’t be able to download it.
If you need a better signal, stop at the contact station before 89.

Stayed here when we went to hike the Wave. It was beautiful. There is a dirt road that leads out to it that could probably get flooded or muddy but the campsite was absolutely beautiful. We were the only ones there but it was just awesome.

    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
