Summary

AI generated

Whiting Campground is praised for its cozy, shady atmosphere and well-maintained sites, making it a great spot for camping and hiking. Many visitors enjoyed the privacy of the campsites and the friendly camp host, who provided firewood delivery. However, the lack of potable water and issues with some facilities, such as poorly maintained picnic tables and vault toilets, were noted as drawbacks.

camp site was not cleaned when we got there. didn't see/hear from host for a couple of days. site is beautiful and shady but very hot due to low elevation. VERY difficult to get trailer out as there is not a loop at the end (just a parking lot)

Best way I found so far to book a camp site. Information in accurate and it saves time and gives a peace of mind that the camp site will be available.

We really enjoyed our time at Whiting. The camp host was wonderful!. It would have been helpful to know in advance that the spigots had been capped off and there was not any drinking water available.

Low hanging branches across roads make it challenging for trailers.
I must have missed that the water was turned off. Other than that we had a great time. It was clean. Camp host was awesome.
