What Guests Are Saying
Diamond Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting with clean facilities and friendly camp hosts who are accommodating and helpful. Many visitors enjoy the spaciousness between sites and the proximity to nature, including rivers and wildlife, making it a great spot for families and outdoor activities. However, some guests reported issues with flies, wasps, and aggressive cows, along with misleading descriptions of tent camping areas, which detracted from their overall experience.

You just need to realize that it’s free range so cows are right in the campground with lots of cow pies!

The camp host was very friendly and accommodating. He even let us check in early. Very clean facilities. Very beautiful site.

Campground and restrooms were clean. The camp host was not on site but a host from another camp made the rounds and ensured any needs we had were taken take of.

Everyrhing was good except the bathroom had lots of flies and wasps. Would have been nice if someone sprayed or cleaned up the bathroom a little.

We reserved this campground for a family reunion, expecting it to accommodate up to 75 people as advertised. Our group of 30, with a mix of RVs and tents, was excited for the trip. However, the reality was far from what was promised.
The site was grossly misrepresented. Despite claims of space for tents, there was no suitable area for tent camping unless you consider pitching tents on concrete acceptable. The listing's description was misleading, setting false expectations for our reunion.
Upon arrival, we found no signage indicating our reserved site, unlike other sites that were clearly marked. There was no host on-site, and we couldn’t reach anyone for assistance. We attempted to find an alternative site, but every option, including tent-only sites, suffered from the same issues: cramped, poorly maintained, and not as advertised.
After packing and traveling, we were forced to turn around and head home, unable to stay due to the unacceptable conditions. To make matters worse, our attempts to secure a refund have been met with outright refusal and no explanation or reasoning. This lack of customer service is unacceptable.
This was our first and last time attempting to camp here. I strongly recommend visiting the site in person before booking to verify what you’re actually getting. Be warned: they take your money and offer no recourse if the site fails to meet expectations.

I would like a refund for these sites! All of them were swarming with bees. Not a few, hundreds every time we got any food out. If I had known there were bees, I would not have come, as one of my family is allergic and had to GO Home. The double site was the worst. We tried go go to the other 2 sites to eat, but the bees just were unbearable.
Not one camp host came AT ALL! There were a couple of teenagers on a golf cart we saw twice. If that is the idea of camp hosts, shame on the campground! They should have offered another site for us not plagued with bees!
I paid for a terrible weekend fighting off bees and getting no alter plans from hosts. I would like a total refund!

Really beautiful campground. Our spot had shade and was close to the river. The kids LOVED playing in the river. The only issue we had were the wasps. It was terrible. As soon as food came out, we were surrounded by swarms of them. We had two kids get stung. It really put a damper on our trip. I’d like to stay here again, but I’m hesitant due to the wasp problem.

It's my favorite place to camp, with clean facilities, places to walk, walk our pet and stay in touch with nature.
