What Guests Are Saying
Diamond Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting with clean facilities and friendly camp hosts who are accommodating and helpful. Many visitors enjoy the spaciousness between sites and the proximity to nature, including rivers and wildlife, making it a great spot for families and outdoor activities. However, some guests reported issues with flies, wasps, and aggressive cows, along with misleading descriptions of tent camping areas, which detracted from their overall experience.

This is a very quiet, peaceful and beautiful campground. Iβve camped here twice this summer. I was a bit surprised to find cows roaming through the campsites during my last visit.

Great campground for those early trips when it's to cold to g high in the mountains. Campground is well maintained, quiet, and close to home.

Visited here at the end of June. This was a great spot for a group. Amenities included clean vault toilets, water spigot, large pavilion, many picnic tables, grill, dutch oven table and fire pit. (Water definitely worked when we were there, not sure what happened with the other reviewer)
We were a little worried if there would be enough cleared ground for our large tents, but we fit two 10 person tents and a 6 person tent without problem but you probably couldnβt fit much more than that (maybe one more 6 person tent if you had to). The placed is fenced in so it was nice to not worry that little ones couldnβt easily get out. Google Monk Hallow Trailhead to see more reviews/pics of the campground as it shares a parking lot with that trail. Overall, very happy with our stay.

The campground hosts were great -- friendly and helpful. We loved the 2 spots we were in; plenty of shade, room to play, and enough space in between other sites that we had a quiet, pleasant experience. It was also nice to have T-Mobile connection in case we needed it. The 2 bad things: hungry mosquitoes, and the trees "shedding" cotton relentlessly everywhere. Will definitely come back, but probably not in June to avoid the cotton.
