This site was perfect. We had great privacy, a lot of shade, and easy access to bathrooms. This was probably one of the best locations at the campsite!

Excellent campground.
Recreation.gov has the wrong length for spot number 4, my trailer (30 ft) would not fit. Luckily spot 3 was open.
Spot 4 was 16 paces and spot 3 was 26 paces.

We loved the spot we were in. It was right by the stream and had plenty of room. My only complaint was the bathrooms. They were awful. I only used it when I absolutely had to. I get they are vault toilets, like a lot of campgrounds, but these were pretty bad.

This site was accessible, close to the restrooms, and felt tucked away from the road. It was also shaded. The best part was the babbling creek that runs through the campground.

Really enjoyed our time at Whiting. Loved the camp site which was right next to the stream so we could hear the water - so relaxing. The campsite and restroom facilities were clean. Camp host was great! We received an email that there would be construction and possible noise as well as not water. While we saw construction equipment, we did not hear any noise. The water situation was okay since we knew in advance and brought extra water.

Joe, the camp host, made this an amazing experience! He was alway close by and willing to help with anything we needed. He truly became just part of the family! I can't wait to go back and do it again! The place was beautiful with beautiful shade trees everywhere and amazing hiking and horse back riding trails. Great location as it was close to town.
