What Guests Are Saying
Lucerne Campground is praised for its beautiful location, clean facilities, and friendly staff, with many visitors enjoying the scenic views and proximity to the marina. However, recent reviews indicate a decline in maintenance, with issues such as unclean restrooms, lack of staff presence, and inadequate signage for campsite setups. Despite these drawbacks, many long-time campers remain fond of the area and appreciate the natural beauty and spaciousness of the campground.

Best campground hosts in the nation! Restrooms were always clean. Campground is managed very well. The only negative is that they only take cash or checks. You need to pay $7 to dump your sewage and the credit card reader did not work. You have to go to the office and buy a token. That was very inconvenient.

Not a tent friendly campground. The grass is watered every night so you’ll be soaked by sprinklers at some point through the night. Ended up sleeping on the asphalt.

Love Flaming Gorge and this campground was the perfect starting point for exploring. Helpful staff, clean Campground, roomy sites and steps from the water. Second time here and we will undoubtedly return.

Had a large family reunion where we were able to get multiple camp sites and cabins. There was a large pavilion close to our spots that we were able to get together to cook and eat. The restrooms and showers were nice and clean. There was even an ice truck that came around the campground, which was a nice touch, as we were all running low on ice.

Very nice site with a large pavilion. Clean restrooms. Plenty of room to play games and pitch tents. Plenty of parking. Easy lake access just down the hill from the pavilion for kayaks and fishing. We had a great time with a group of 40. Camp hosts were friendly. It can get fairly windy so make sure your tents are staked properly. The wind break around the pavilion was nice to have.

We had a great time, the camp sites were clean. All the staff members were so nice and helpful.
The fishing wads fun. We caught kokanee, & rainbow trout every time we went out on the lake. Good times, we will be back for 20 days in August.

Beautiful, clean, waterside campground. The Forest Service rarely provides campsites with electric hookups, but it is so beneficial when they do. Quiet, no generators. Campground needs to provide doggie poop bag stations to encourage campers to clean up after their dogs.
