What Guests Are Saying
Lucerne Campground is praised for its beautiful location, clean facilities, and friendly staff, with many visitors enjoying the scenic views and proximity to the marina. However, recent reviews indicate a decline in maintenance, with issues such as unclean restrooms, lack of staff presence, and inadequate signage for campsite setups. Despite these drawbacks, many long-time campers remain fond of the area and appreciate the natural beauty and spaciousness of the campground.

Campground was very good. Power and water but no on-site dump. Recreation.gov stated it was $10 to dump but ended up being free. Maybe because the water was still turned off at the dump site. Had one very windy day that kept us off the water. Fishing on the Utah side really sucked this year but Wyoming side was pretty good past the pipeline.

The only issue I had was according to the map campground 9 was on the outside corner when actually that was 11 and was on the inside. We have stayed there for years and the campground workers were fantastic and very helpful

Call ahead to check your reservation and what amenities are available for your visit. I had reservations for a site with a cover in the D Loop and was sent an email a few days prior confirming my site. Upon arrival I was told that due to water problems they moved me to the A Loop where none of the sites had covers. I told them weather was calling for rain and snow and requested any site including E and F loops for some sort of cover but was denied. It snowed 6" during my stay. The only potable water available was at the RV dump. No showers and lost electricity both to the bathrooms and campsites. I stay here a lot and this was the worst trip ever. The campground people were friendly but were unable to do anything in terms of compensating me for substandard conditions. I have to go through American Land and Leisure .

Best campground we have been to this year so Far. Neat clean level and beautiful water views. Walk down to the lake to fish and enjoy watching the Pronghorn nibble on the grass in the campground. Nice new fire pit table and shelter at our site.
