What Guests Are Saying
Lucerne Campground is praised for its beautiful location, clean facilities, and friendly staff, with many visitors enjoying the scenic views and proximity to the marina. However, recent reviews indicate a decline in maintenance, with issues such as unclean restrooms, lack of staff presence, and inadequate signage for campsite setups. Despite these drawbacks, many long-time campers remain fond of the area and appreciate the natural beauty and spaciousness of the campground.

The sites are are in great shape, but the showers could use a little help. They shoot straight down and a few don't have much pressure.

Very nice campground. The campground hosts are exceptional. The restrooms and showers were spotlessly clean every time we visited them. Our experience was so good, we are coming back for two weeks in September.

The showers close at 8 pm. Before sunset!! Unbelievable! This policy should be reevaluated!

When we arrived the campsite had not been cleaned up. A previous camper had dumped something like a huge pot of spaghetti into the fire pit, it was disgusting. There were plastic spoons and utensils scattered all over our site. It took repeated attempts to get the camp site people to clean the firepit with a shovel, which we didn't have before they finally did. The host told me you can burn the mess in the firepit to which I replied that no the smell would be horrendous. On 2 of the days we were there the hosts were late in opening the shower facilities, AS IN HOURS LATE. Not impressed with this group at all.
