What Guests Are Saying
Lucerne Campground is praised for its beautiful location, clean facilities, and friendly staff, with many visitors enjoying the scenic views and proximity to the marina. However, recent reviews indicate a decline in maintenance, with issues such as unclean restrooms, lack of staff presence, and inadequate signage for campsite setups. Despite these drawbacks, many long-time campers remain fond of the area and appreciate the natural beauty and spaciousness of the campground.

We loved the location, right near the water and mountains, and close to gorge area activities! Don't miss the Sheep Creek geological loop area.

I loved this location in relation to Flaming Gorge. My camping site was 100 yards from the beach on the lake. It was beautiful and quiet. The restrooms were nice and clean and I loved having a shower on site. There was a gas station nearby (5 miles) for fishing equipment and snacks. I also went to Vernal through the nearby mountain pass (HWY 191). It connects Manila to Vernal. I went to the Dinosaur Quarry, I stopped at the Flaming Gorge Dam and I went mountain biking. Great Trip!!

Sites are large and well spaced. You do not feel like you are crowded together. Nice restrooms. 20/30/50 amp service.
