What Guests Are Saying
Lucerne Campground is praised for its beautiful location, clean facilities, and friendly staff, with many visitors enjoying the scenic views and proximity to the marina. However, recent reviews indicate a decline in maintenance, with issues such as unclean restrooms, lack of staff presence, and inadequate signage for campsite setups. Despite these drawbacks, many long-time campers remain fond of the area and appreciate the natural beauty and spaciousness of the campground.

D loop men's troop sinks were broken, urinal was broken, and hand dryers were broken. Showers were open from 0900-1800 and overloaded from other loops (E) primitive loop who paid less. Finally, the credit card pay machine was broke at the dump site (yes you have to pay to dump your RV when you leave) at least the host traded cash for tokens.

I stay in loop D, there is only power at the site. Site is paved has picnic table, firering, firebox for cooking
overhead cover. Restrooms are near by with showers. Area is well kept. Marina and store near by. RV station at
entry, dump and fresh water. Fee to dump is $ 7.00. great views and very relaxing. By the way fishing is great, enjoy
and have a great time.

Grounds and restrooms were well kept. Sites were close together but the privacy fence, picnic table and fire pit were nice to have and clean.

I almost hate to recommend this place, because it is somewhat of a hidden gem. We have visited this campground many times this summer. It is lovely. Campground hosts have been universally friendly and helpful. Loops A-C have huge pads, big enough for our 5th wheel, boat, truck, and car. Loop D has smaller pads, but sites are just as spacious, and include covered picnic tables. Showers are available, and the place is pristine. Sites are well spaced. In addition to our time on the lake, we enjoyed watching pronghorn, owls, and osprey bring up their young.

We stayed in the apartments at Lucerne campground and they just couldn’t have been any cleaner, comfortable, or convenient. Campground managers are so friendly and helpful. Will always book here first when visiting Flaming Gorge.

Showers are only available until 5pm. I hope that they’ll change the “ Shower Hours” to later.
