We had exceeded our expectations. The camp site was really great. The facilities of drinking water and hot showers add the importance of this campground. Its shady and safe.
I highly recommend families and friends to experience this campground.

Won’t be going back to this campground.
We had 3 pull through sites…
if you have a large trailer or fifth wheel
the spots were very narrow, and impossible to pull through… we had to back in at an angle.
Bathrooms were clean but you had to drive to them.
This campground could use some updating..

This was my first time to flaming gorge since I was a child and my husbands first time there ever. Mustang Ridge campground made it an amazing experience for both of us. We were able to set up our camp like pros! My husband even saw a nice four-point buck come through camp which made his experience an awesome one! Campsites were very clean and very hospitable, so thank you so much! We will be back for sure 😃

We stayed in site 22 for 3 nights. We had reserved for 4 but left early due to the heat (not much anyone can do about that), noise, and general rudeness of others around us. Generators and parties well past the quiet hour, even on Monday night (I'd expect that more on the weekend); off leash dogs running through our site making my on leash dogs go nuts; very loud music that could be heard and felt several sites away; and fireworks (who lights fireworks in the national forest??). The most annoying thing was that the site we chose happened to be the "highway" between the campground and the primary swimming hole and we had people (including large groups) walking through (not around) our site at all hours. People did not respect the space and we were constantly having to manage our dogs who were understandably upset. This was not fun or relaxing in any way. We only saw the camp host twice, driving by on a golf cart. The lake is nice, but don't stay in this site if you are looking for a quiet (or even relatively quiet) experience. I get that people go camping to enjoy the company of their families and friends and know that there will be some merriment, but this was over the top just bad.
