Absolutely loved this site, it's all by itself away from other campers. The switch backs were a bit intimidating but we all got down no problem in full size long bed trucks towing trailers with our jeeps on them. Just take your time and you will be fine. The site is large and flat, plenty of space once we had the jeeps off the trailers there was still plenty of open space. It is right next to the road so you see people driving by, We were there 2nd week of September on most the campsites beyond were empty, not sure if they fill up other times of there year, but that could definitely add to the traffic.

This was incredible. It is an amazing site for a group, or just a few people. Amazing location, perfect weather, beautiful night sky, thanks for the best site on our cross country adventure.

Campsite is available by reservation only. There is a locked gate at the campsite entrance. A lock combination will be sent with each reservation. If the gate is left open while you are there, it MUST be LOCKED to the posts to avoid swinging closed. The campsite gate must be LOCKED upon DEPARTURE. |

Gusty winds are possible; ALWAYS secure your tents and camping gear. |

Ravens, chipmunks and other wildlife frequent the sites; NEVER leave food or trash unattended. |
