Close to Moab so easy to go into town if you needed anything. We were camped in the open but the site was big. A lot of nicer spots that have some shade from trees. The first come first served part of the campground was also nice. Restrooms were clean.

We were fortunate enough to get the best spot in the campground for 3 nights (#35).
We will be back next year and hope we can reserve that spot!

It was far too windy but understanding that you can’t control the weather this is just to say that if it is a windy day this campsite offers no protection.
The real problem is that when you reserve a spot you’re either going to get a nice plot with some foliage or a bare patch of dust and there’s no way to tell from the reservation site. You need to tier the system in some way, half of these sites are clearly great for camping and half are only good for a place to park an RV.
