What Guests Are Saying
Ken's Lake Campground offers a beautiful setting with scenic views, spacious sites, and proximity to hiking trails and a nearby waterfall, making it a great spot for outdoor activities. While some campers noted issues with shade and cleanliness in the bathrooms, many appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and enjoyed their stay overall. Access to water and camp host presence were highlighted as areas for improvement.

Beautiful scenery and the camp spots were clean and large. Campsite was off the main road, made it nice and quiet. The vault toilets were in need of emptying but it was a short trip, was the perfect spot to stop for the night.

Our camping site was in extremely close proximity to the bathroom (not pictured or advertised at all when we booked) and our site smelled awful! In addition we ended up calling the cops one night because of non stop gunfire after dark at 11pm. Would not recommend.

We stayed at site A24. The spots are big with lots of room between sites. A bonus is that there is a path to the lake. We walked the dogs to the lake and got a little exercise. Don't miss the waterfall up the road. You can drive above the waterfall and walk down to it.

Ken's Lake CG is nice. Great views and plenty of Jeep trails nearby. The only complaint I have is the never ending intrusion of field mice in our motorhome every night. I set a small Have-A-Heart trap and could empty it all night. Be aware of proper cleaning methods in case of Huantar Virous as you clean up droppings. Use the wet method and wear a N95 mask. Bathrooms were clean and stocked with TP. I was out all day so never saw a host. 19 years coming here and I won't let mice stop me :) Tenter's should be aware this is a high wind prone CG. I've chased more than one tent across the field here.

The lake itself was a bit of a disappointment. The site was fine and the toilet was handy. We moved on the second night to be closer to Canyonlands and got really lucky getting the last of 12 campsites in the actual park.
