I would have loved my time at Kens Lake but when I arrived someone had taken my campsite even though I had reserved it back in October, I arrived at 3:00, so I was not late. I found out from another camper they had just moved there from another site. They were at the lake so there was no one to talk to. The campground host was wonderful. She called the BLM headquarters in Moab and they offered me the group site at no additional charge. I was able to enjoy the hiking and the waterfall. Just be careful, even though you have a reservation someone can take it and you can not do anything about it. There are always people that think the rules do not apply to them.

Great location for a Moab visit. Just need to remember where you are at... Spots have no shade and it can be very windy at times :)
One of the cleanest well stocked pit toilets :)

Some of this campground was quite nice. Thankfully I was not in the upper section which looked like your typical parking lot style RV parking. The location was great and the little hike up to the waterfall was a wonderful way to strech after a long drive.

Great hiking trails and dog friendly! I was in the FCFS section. It was quiet.

We tent camped here and we enjoyed our 3 nights. They kept the bathrooms clean each day. A highlight for us was going to Faux Falls that is visible from camp. You can hike to it or ride your mountain bike. We rode. Know that the camp area is exposed and since it was spring it got a little windy. Prepare for that possibility. We thought the price was fair. We would return in the future.
