We were late on getting a reservation and didnot get a good campsite like we usually do. We were in 22 and the constant traffic of the side by sides and the dust they created on the access road was overwhelming. We probably won’t return to Ken’s Lake. As bicycle riders it once was a wonderful place to base many bike rides.

The reservable sites are completely exposed- no shelter from wind or sun; the campers while we were there were about 2/3 RV/van and 1/3 tent. The sites are well spaced apart, so the campground is relatively peaceful and quiet. The lake's day-traffic is generally not intrusive (fishing and kayaking while we were there). You can still hear some highway noise, although the area is away from the road.
The pit toilet was running out of TP by Sunday morning- be sure to bring your own just in case.

Ken's Lake campground is awesome. The views are great, the campsites are well laid out and tended nicely. There are picnic tables, parking, and a fire pit at each. Multiple bathrooms - easy to walk to, clean, smell fine etc. We will stay there again.
